Because children who are deaf or hard of hearing are learning to listen and talk at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in Jacksonville and the preschool classroom in Orlando! Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech is a nonprofit organization that teaches children who are deaf or hard to listen and talk. By working with our highly specialized speech language pathologists and certified teachers of the deaf, and gaining access to sound via cochlear implants or hearing aids, children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn to listen and talk just like their peers with typical hearing. Many children who come to Clarke are ready to attend their neighborhood mainstream schools by kindergarten.
Our major fundraising event is the 6th Annual Kilwins Ice Cream Run and we anticipate over 1,000 runners and walkers on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the St. Johns Town Center.
