Island Spring Bloom Half

Event Date: April 27th, 2025

We kick off the Island Race Series with a fundraiser for the Alameda Hospital Foundation. 2026 is special because we have rebranded the event around Spring and are bringing a Half Marathon to this event

Run both the Spring Bloom Half and the Island Festival Half and receive a customer "half and half" hoodie. 

This race will take place at Faction brewery and feature all the beautiful views, flats course and post race expo that you are used to at our September event 

Event Schedule:

• 4/23 - 4/25/25 ~ Packet pick up: Lauren's Closet 1420 Park St. Alameda. Ca. 10:00am - 5:00pm
• 4/26/25 ~ Race morning registration opens at 6:45am: Faction Brewery 2501 Monarch st / Alameda Point
   

General Overview: 

All of the runs will showcase parts of Alameda point, new parks on the west end of Alameda, the USS Hornet and coastal trails. the course is flat and fast with the 10k returning to be part of the USATF 10K circuit. 

there will also be music from DJ Mike, food and and age group winner awards presented by Burneikis law. Come enjoy a fun local race with a community feel, and support a great beneficiary in the Alameda Hospital Foundation.

• 10K - 08:00am 
• 5k - 08:15am
• Family fun run time TBD 9:45am
