Aut2Run 2020 is the 8th Annual Charity Race/Walk benefiting the Autism Society Ventura County
When:  Sunday, August 16th, 2020
Where: All races have been transformed into Virtual Events, so you can Run/ Walk your distance on any course you wish.

We are excited about this weekend's virtual races. Below is all of the info you need to be ready to participate.

Find Your Race Bib Number: If you want to print out your Race Bib you can find it here when you log into your account  https://runsignup.com/Race/RegistrationLookup/?raceId=2323

Race Times: All races stat at 8:00am - 15K, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile & Fun K Start

Distances for each Race:
Fun K - (.62 miles)
1 Mile - (1 mile)
5K Run/Walk - (3.1 miles)
10K Run/Walk - (6.2 miles)
15K Run/Walk  - (9.3 miles) 

Race Instructions:
Please choose a local safe route (since this event is virtual you can run​ or walk anywhere you like, we recommend a place that is safe with limited interruptions).
Please follow all local laws, stop at all lights, stop signs and be careful when you cross at any cross walk. ​Please be aware of your surroundings and be cautious as you will not be running or walking on a closed course. We cannot emphasize this enough. 
Maintain, at an absolute minimum, 6ft between you and anyone else not in your household.

Tracking your Distance and Awards: 
You can download the Race Joy App on your phone and it will automatically track and upload your time to RunSignUp. Download the AP here https://www.racejoy.net/download.  Awards will only be given to those who use RaceJoy or upload their times before 9:15am, awards will be announced at 9:30am.

You can also use a GPS watch or phone with a GPS app to track your time and distance, you can upload your time onto the Aut2Run website on race day. 

Add your pictures to Aut2Run 2020: use #Aut2Run2020 with any pictures you post and we will include them on the Aut2Run FaceBook Page.

7:30am - Welcome Message
7:40am - Zumba Warmup 
7:50am - National Anthem - Introduction of Singers
7:55am - Race Instructions (reminder to bring water and a phone to call for help if needed, obey traffic signals, send results if interested in timed prizes, reminder to use hashtag #Aut2Run2020 so that we can like and share their pictures on social media, etc.) 
8:00am - 15K, 10K, 5K, 1 Mile & Fun K Start
Post Race Activities: Cool Down by Special Olympics/Team Wellness
T-Shirt Winners 
Art Show
9:15am - Must submit official times by 9:15am
9:30am - Awards for Top 3 Finishers (5K, 10K, 15K)
ASVC College Scholarship Winners
11am - Event Closes

Packet Pick Up Options: If you missed the drive-thru packet pick up 
1- Pick up your Aut2Run Packet Wednesday, August 12th - September 12th from:
- Mile 26 Running Co - 2222 E Thompson Blvd Ventura CA 93001 (Mon-Fri 11-6, Sat 11-5 or Sun 11-4)
- Future Track/ Mile 26 Running Co - 30125 Agoura Rd Suite A, Agoura Hills CA 91301 (Mon-Fri 11-6, Sat 11-5 or Sun 11-4)
Please make sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing when going into the stores.  

2- To request your packet to be mailed please e-mail race@autismventura.org  and please be sure to send your mailing address in your email we will ship your goodies after 8/16.  All shipping requests after 8/30 will be charged $5 to cover shipping, all requested before 8/30 will ship for free. 

2020 Aut2Run Race Events:

  • 10K Trail Race Starts at 8:00am
  • 5K Run/Walk Starts at 8:00am
  • 15K "Hero Run" - Starts at 8:00am -you will do the whole race without interruption
  • 1 Mile Walk/Run Starts at 8:00am
  • Fun-K Starts Starts at 8:00am
