Join us 9:30 AM- 12 PM at the Edoff Memorial Bandstand for Crisis Support Services of Alameda County’s 9th Annual Healing Hearts: 5K Walk/Run for Suicide Prevention. This all-ages event will help raise awareness to the tragedy of suicide, help reduce the stigma associated with depression and mental illness, educate the community about available services, support local suicide prevention programs, and provide a safe place to heal for those who have lost loved ones to suicide as a community.
We now offer a VIRTUAL Healing Hearts 5K Walk/Run for Suicide Prevention open to all participants. We ask you to sign up on this page and Walk or Run your own 5K course (3.1 miles) at any time before May 9th. You can even break it up over a period of time. (A mile a day for 3.1 days?) Then, email us your time and we will post it to RunSignUp -- (if you want). We will then mail you your participants t-shirt along with a goodie bag. It will be just like being here with us and will, of course, help Crisis Support Services of Alameda County and the important work we do on a daily basis.
Ask family, friends, and colleagues to support your efforts to raise money for an important cause. Make your own individual page or join a team to get started. You can set a goal, customize your page, invite others to join you in fundraising, and more! Click on "SIGN-UP" tab at the top of the page or Click Here for more information.
