Join us for our first race in Southern California, in Orange County! Beer City OC starts in Centennial Park in Santa Ana and runs along the Santa Ana River Trail through Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach (our hometown!). The air is thick with excitement!
Beer City Orange County includes a half marathon, 10k, and 5k distances. The Beer Stroll is a 1-mile walk for those who are mostly in it for the beer.
You don't have to have been part of other Beer City races to have a great time. You also don't have to care for beer. This gathering is meant for everyone and it's made by runners, for runners. So come out for a great time with sunshine, running, beer, and celebrating.
When you get home we will be there with tastes of beer from the Beer City Festival. Runners drink until noon. If you want to stay for the whole Festival, purchase a cheap Second Shift pass that takes you to 3pm.

Schwag and Awards
Each runner receives a comfy Beer City OC t-shirt, a Key to Beer City OC finishers medal, Beer City tasting glass, custom bib and free race photos.
Podium trophies are given to the top 3 in each race by gender. Age group awards are given 3-deep. Age group winners are requested to identify themselves at the timing table.
Beer Tasting and Post-Race Refreshment
Beer City offers our runners over 21 years of age tastes of Lagunitas and other beers from Beer City Festival brewers as they setup during the morning. There will also be bubbly water and sodas and snacks for everyone. Beer will be served in 7oz Beer City Festival tasting glasses for you to take home (without a beer in them still).
Beer City Festival
Want to learn more about beer and have a great time? Stay for the Beer City Festival and enjoy a broad selection from local and regional brewers and from some of the brewers that travel around with Beer City. There will also be non-alcoholic Hop Water. Runners and their friends can purchase Festival tickets for 30% off. These Second Shift passes allow you to drink all afternoon. Our entertainment will be School of Rock Santa Ana, followed by the Teaching Band.
The Beer City Festival starts at 11 am and goes until 2 pm. You'll enjoy games, music, and fun not to mention great beer.
