The Song family and SongStrong race team invite you to run or walk in the 5th SongStrong: Keep Kids Safe 5K. This exciting event takes place in beautiful Guilford, CT and features panoramic views of Long Island Sound and the historic Guilford Green. After the race, enjoy food, drinks, music, a trophy ceremony and much more!
A race t-shirt will be provided to all 5K entries received by May 25, 2024. Shirt provision after this date shall be subject to availability. Fun Run entrants before May 27, 2024 will be given the option to purchase a race shirt for $5. Early bird registrants before December 31, 2023, will be offer a choice of race shirt colors!

Note: SongStrong supports gender neutrality at events and respects participants’ preference to decline assigning gender within the registration process. Participants in this 5K may select the following Gender Options: Male, Female, Nonbinary. By selecting “Nonbinary”, participants will display in the overall results but will not be listed in an age group or be eligible for age group awards.
Please consider becoming a fundraiser either individually or as part of a team and set a target goal to raise. Details on how to do this will be displayed during registration. Trophies shall be awarded to the top fundraising team and the team with the most creative outfits!

The race celebrates the life of Ethan Song who passed away in January 2018 at the age of 15. All proceeds go to the Ethan Miller Song Foundation, a non-profit that develops and supports Ethan’s causes and programs that keep kids safe. www.songstrong.org for more info.
Become an Event Volunteer!
Besides participants, we also need volunteers to help with advance packet pick up and on race day. It's a great way to help make a difference without breaking out into a sweat! If you don't wish to run, how about helping out?
Please use the Volunteer Registration Link to confirm when and where you can help. If you select one of the race day slots, please come to Race HQ at the Fairground first to check in, before reporting to your assigned location. All the volunteer locations are walk-able from the Fairgrounds.
