Join us for the Beyond Stigma 5K Run/Walk, a powerful event to raise awareness and break the silence surrounding substance use and addiction. Hosted by For Cameron, Inc., a Connecticut-based nonprofit, we are dedicated to creating change through law reform, education, and public health initiatives. Our mission is to shed light on the fentanyl crisis, reduce stigma, and support those who still have a chance.

Race Day FAQ!
What is the distance?
The 5K is 3.1 miles.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at [Insert Parking Location]. Please follow the directional signs or instructions from event staff to find the designated parking areas.
Is there a water stop?
Yes, there will be a water stop halfway through the 5K, and water bottles will be provided at the finish line.
Where do I pick up my bib number?
Please head to the sign-in table on race day to pick up your bib number.
When does bib pick-up end on race day?
Bib pick-up will close at 9:30 AM on race day (05/10/2025).
Where/how do I attach my bib number?
Attach your bib number to the front of your shirt or shorts using the provided safety pins.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome at our 5K run/walks, as long as they are leash-trained and comfortable around large crowds. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pets.
What is the last day I can register?
Online registration will close at 11:59 PM on 05/09/2025. Same-day registration will be available in person until 9:30 AM on race day (05/10/2025).
Will the event be canceled if it is raining?
The event will take place rain or shine. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather!
Will there be a shortcut for those who don’t want to/aren’t able to complete the 5K?
We understand that completing the full 5K may not be possible for everyone. If you need to turn around early, please let a volunteer know so we can mark your bib for timing purposes.

What is the fundraising goal for this event?
This event aims to raise awareness and funds for For Cameron, Inc. to support education, advocacy, and public health initiatives surrounding the fentanyl crisis. Every registration and donation helps fund vital programs.
