Description
The event will include a professionally-timed 5K Run and a non-timed Walk. The Run will begin at 7:30 AM, concluding with an awards ceremony at 8:15 AM. Placement awards for the Run will be given to: the top overall male and female runner, top boy and girl ages 6-12, and top male and female in the following age groups: 13-17, 18-39, 40-54 and 55 plus. All Registrants will receive a drawstring bag that includes a quality t-shirt (participation medal, bib & timing tag for runners) and an event map. The Walk will begin at 9 AM. Walkers will have a chance to win give-a-ways from local businesses.
Christy’s Cause, Inc., launched in 2015, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization working to eradicate child sex trafficking through education, public awareness, restoration projects and justice initiatives.
