Results will be available on-site, however, you are encouraged to sign up to have your results texted to you upon completing your event.

Awards will be offered to the top male and female finishers as well as the top three in each age group. Overall awards are based upon gun time (gun to chip). All other awards (age groups) are based upon chip time (chip to chip). (Awards are only for the 5.4 Mile course. The 2.7 Mile and Virtual participants are not eligible for awards)

Male and female age groups are:

  • 0–9
  • 10–14
  • 15–19
  • 20–29
  • 30–39
  • 40–49
  • 50–59
  • 60–Up

(Age based upon years old on race day)

Don’t worry if you are not a competitive runner, we will be offering special awards for the funkiest outfits too! And make sure to get down to the music…there may be something special for the best dancers we see in the crowd!

It is our intention to hold a safe and enjoyable race experience for all participants. Should anything come up that might compromise our ability to fulfill that commitment (severe weather, government restrictions, etc…), we will automatically transfer all in-person registrations to the virtual race.

Participants in the virtual event will have their swag items sent to the valid US-address used during registration within 2 weeks of the in-person event. Please allow for transit time. We ship via the United States Postal Service.

Please note: The entrance to the park can get backed up. We are covering the park entrance fee to help reduce the backup, but please plan to arrive early enough to allow for some delays entering the park.

COVID-19 Update: We continue to monitor the updates on the ongoing pandemic.  Your health and safety is our top concern. The 5.4 Funky Run is planned as an in-person event but we also offer a virtual option (for the 5.4 distance). Should you feel uncomfortable being around other runners, we suggest considering the virtual edition which allows you to run wherever you feel comfortable and at whatever time works for you. Additionally, should any regulations force us to alter our plans, all registered participants will be automatically assigned to the virtual event.  Remember, our intent is for a safe and healthy in-person event.
