Race to Their Rescue 5K is more than just a race—it's a chance to make a difference! Join us for a fun-filled morning of running, walking, and wagging tails as we raise awareness and support for local greyhound rescue dogs. Bring your family, friends, and four-legged companions for a memorable community event packed with smiles, fresh air, and a great cause. All dogs are welcome! 🐾

Greyhounds In Motion has been operating since 2019 and is based in Florida, USA. We are a registered 501c3 registered non-profit.

The mission of Greyhounds in Motion is to help hounds home by facilitating transportation and adoption of Greyhounds and other Sighthounds in need. Visit our website for more information.

Your attendance helps provide transport and accommodations assisting them on their journey to their forever homes. Many hounds are brought from overseas into the United States and driven to their adopting family with the help of volunteers. With many miles behind us, our mission is to get as many dogs into loving homes as possible.

FAQ

- Is parking free? On site parking is free and first come first serve.

- Are dogs allowed on the course? Of course! Participants with dogs and children are asked to perform a delayed start of 15 minutes. All dogs are allowed at this event as long as they are friendly and on a leash that is LESS THAN 6 feet. No retractible leashes, prong collars or shock collars permitted for safety.

- Are there restrooms or porta-potties near the start/finish or on course? Yes, there are park restrooms available for usage.
