Event Description
Race to Their Rescue 5K is more than just a race—it's a chance to make a difference! Join us for a fun-filled morning of running, walking, and wagging tails as we raise awareness and support for local greyhound rescue dogs. Bring your family, friends, and four-legged companions for a memorable community event packed with smiles, fresh air, and a great cause. All dogs are welcome! 🐾

If purchasing your ticket after 9/30, we cannot guarantee your shirt will be made in time for the race. It will be shipped to you following the race.
Kits may be picked up at the Check In station by Pavilion One. If bringing donations, they can be handed off to a volunteer there. Examples are towels, blankets, belly bands, collars (clip and martingale), bowls and gently used books.
Race Day Schedule
7:00 a.m. - Packet Pickup
8:00 a.m. - 5k Run/Walk
8:15 a.m. - Start for participants with dogs/children. (Please refer to FAQ for dogs on the course.)
9:00 a.m. - Open Awards and Raffles
Parking
Free on site parking lots directly accessible from Dean Rd. Park as close as possible to Pavilion One. That is where the fun is!

Greyhounds In Motion has been operating since 2019 and is based in Florida, USA. We are a registered 501c3 registered non-profit.

FAQ
- Is parking free? On site parking is free and first come first serve.
- Are dogs allowed on the course? Of course! Participants with dogs and children are asked to perform a delayed start of 15 minutes. All dogs are allowed at this event as long as they are friendly and on a leash that is LESS THAN 6 feet. No retractible leashes, prong collars or shock collars permitted for safety.
- Are there restrooms or porta-potties near the start/finish or on course? Yes, there are several park restrooms available for usage.
