Fleet Feet Athens / Oconee presents the Fleet Feet Firefly 5-Miler as a fund-raising event for the Firefly Trail Race Series. This distance fits perfectly into Half Marathon and Marathon training plans. Come run with us!

Course
The Fleet Feet 5-Miler is an out and back along the Firefly Trail. The race will begin on the Firefly Trail in Dudley Park near the sunflowers, run out 2.5 miles turn around and come back. There will be a water stop along the course that runners will pass twice.
T-shirts
T-shirts are available through August 1, 2025. After that date, shirts will not be available. Register early to reserve your shirt!
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over
Virtual Option
Run your 5 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on August 24, 2025. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts..
Race Series and Finishline Management
The Fleet Feet 5-miler is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and the Clover Glove Race Series.
Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
