About The Bill Ham 5K Dash For Dopamine

Mark your calendars and break out your running shoes!

The Me Over PD Foundation is thrilled to host the Bill Ham 5k Dash For Dopamine Run Sunday, September 27th. Our goal is to bring together runners, walkers, families, and community supporters for a morning of fitness, fellowship, and fundraising!

 The race will start and finish at the restaurant Fish N' Pig and will weave through one of Macon's beautiful parks by lake Tobesofkee, Sandy Beach. While this race does include a few hills, racers will also get to enjoy scenic paths along the water's edge- offering a truly beautiful panorama of Lake Tobesofkee. The race will take place from 8:00- 10:00 a.m. This is an all-inclusive race- whether you're chasing a personal goal, enjoying a walk with friends, or supporting a meaningful cause, there's a place for you at the starting line!

All proceeds go to Me Over PD, a local non-profit organization for the Parkinson's Disease community.

About The Cause: Meet Me Over PD

The Me Over PD Foundation is a priceless asset to the middle Georgia PD community. The foundation was built by people with Parkinson's disease to help educate, engage, and empower individuals with PD and their care partners. On top of reinstating Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson's classes in Macon, MeOverPD has a shareable website and free newsletter that reaches 17,00 individuals around the world! 

The Foundation dedicates this run to honor Bill Ham, a former member of our Rock Steady Boxing family. Bill loved running, so it only seemed fitting to name the foundation's first fundraising race after him! Come help us celebrate his memory, and enjoy a morning of running or walking for a great cause!
