Description
Join the SIUE Alumni Association for the ninth annual Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run as part of Celebrate Cougar Nation: SIUE Homecoming and Family Weekend. Named Final Lap Race Management's Best Directed event, this year's run offers in-person 10K, 5K and fun runs. Community members, students and alumni are encouraged to participate. Run proceeds will go to the SIUE Alumni Association Scholarship and Programs. The SIUE Alumni Scholarship Fund proudly awards over $20,000 each year to incoming and current SIUE students. Your support will help our campus community define the future of SIUE and provide Alumni programming.
- The run will be fully in-person and take place on Saturday, September 27 on the beautiful SIUE campus with start and finish location in the SIUE Stratton Quad.
- The first run will begin at 9 a.m
- All registered in-person runners will receive a complimentary pancake breakfast from Chris Cakes and post-run beer from Global Brew (runners 21 and over).
Race timing provided by Final Lap Racing.

Awards
- Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female 10K/5K in-person finishers as well as the top male and female runners in the following age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
