Oh What Fun It Is to Run!

Friday, December 11 | Hickory Point Golf Course | Trees on the Tees

The Jolly Jog is back with a brand-new home! This year we’re teaming up with the Decatur Park District to run through Trees on the Tees, a 1.4-mile loop lined with light displays and decorated Christmas trees at Hickory Point Golf Course. We head out right after sunset, before the evening walking tours, so you’ll see the lights glowing as you go.

Suit Up, Santa!

Everyone gets a FULL SANTA SUIT. Yes, the whole thing!

• Adult and kids’ sizes (one size fits most)
• Limited to 100 Santas. Spots will go fast!

Your Sleigh Ticket

• $30 per participant ($35 starting 12/1)
• $28 for kids 12 and under (must be supervised by an adult who is either participating or has a banquet pass)
• $10 banquet pass for non-running family and friends who want to join the after-party

The Night Before Christmas (Well, Two Weeks Before)

• 4:00–4:45 PM: Check-in at the Hickory Point banquet center
• 4:50 PM: The Jolly Jog starts
• After the run: Party in the banquet center and around the fire pits, with barbecue, pizza from Papa Murphy’s, and desserts from Coffee Connection. A cash bar is available for those 21+.

Santa Suit, Secured. Start Line, Next.

Pick up your suit at Fleet Feet Decatur:

• Tue 12/8: Noon–6 PM
• Wed 12/9: Noon–6 PM
• Thu 12/10: Noon–6 PM

Early pickup is strongly encouraged so you can walk right in on race night. Last-minute pickup is at check-in, 4:00–4:45 PM.

Dashing Through the Course

The Trees on the Tees loop is roughly 1.4 miles. Here’s the route so you don’t get lost: Garmin Route

This is a fun run/walk. It’s not timed, just bragging rights! Run, jog, or stroll.

If there’s snow or ice on the path, the event may switch to walk-only or be adjusted. We’ll send updates by email.

Park It Like a Reindeer

• Parking is in the main lot at Hickory Point (first come, first served). Trees on the Tees gets busy, so arrive early!
• Shuttles from the satellite lots start running at 4:30 PM.

• Every participant is entered in our Secret Santa drawing
• Raffle tickets will be on sale for great packages from our sponsors, plus a pair of ASICS running shoes!

The Fine Print

All participants under 18 must be supervised by an adult who is either participating or has a banquet pass.
