SurgOnc Race for Research

Monday, June 8th - Monday, September 16th
100 Miles for 100% of Proceeds to Cancer Research

Description

The Society of Surgical Oncology is hosting the first SurgOnc Race for Research. Put a purpose to your summer activities and help SSO advance cancer research right from where you are.

Complete 100 miles by September 16 to meet the goal. Gather a team or achieve greatness solo by logging your miles from activities you are doing to stay active such as walking, running, biking, swimming, or any other way you can go the distance.

You can log your miles under the Results portion of the page and select "Submit Virtual Results". Once here, please input your First and Last Name and find your registration. You may then select the activity type and mileage.

All funds raised through your registration and donations will fuel our SSO Research and Education Fund. That means every step you take helps power our Clinical Investigator Awards (CIA) and Young Investigator Awards (YIA), pushing the boundaries in cancer research and education. Race alongside our SSO leadership as we unite to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer!

Place

Join the Society of Surgical Oncology virtually! This is a virtual race, so you can achieve your miles right where you are, at your own pace and then log them into the race system to track your progress.
