Description
This will be the 10th Resolution Run 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun walk to benefit the Middlebury Community Food Pantry . What a great way to start the New Year with some POSITIVE energy towards a very good cause!
Race entry fee is $20 for individuals and $30 for families. Long sleeve shirts are optional and an additional $15. Vintage shirts are available onsite at packet pickup/onsite registration. Online registration closes at 4:59 pm on Sunday, December 31 but you can still register onsite, right before the event. Note the pricing does go up.
We will have a variety of vintage shirts, etc for sale onsite.
We accept cash, checks or credit cards onsite.
Courses: The course starts and finishes at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, Both courses utilize the Pumpkinvine Trail and Ridge Trails.
Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup is on Monday, January 1- Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, where we will gather pre and post race.
Onsite registration and packet pickup will open on New Years Day starting at 8:30 am and close at 9:45 am. The 5K run/walk race starts at 10:00 am. The Mile Walk will follow just after the 5K takes off.
Entry Fee: Your entry fee includes a timed entry for the 5K and untimed for the Mile. Shirts are OPTIONAL and an additional $15, There will also be an array of food back inside after you finish and we wait for the awards.
Parking: Ample Parking right there at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center.
Starting line.The starting line is right out on Wayne Street. We will walk everyone out together and wait for the police to close the road before we start.
Finish line: You will finish on a path BEHIND the Essen Haus, protected from traffic.
Awards: Top 3 Overall MF and 3 deep AG awards in 15 age groups. The Mile is not timed.
Results: THTIming.com will be onsite. Results will be pushed to the website. You can opt in to receive texts with your times
Post race refreshments: After the race come in for some refreshments and the awards. Please enter and exit through the Conference side (Wayne Street side) not the hotel/Inn entrance as it becomes quite drafty for the hotel patrons. We appreciate your consideration.

Details about the event
Here is a map of the event. The 5K Course is basically a triangle, and you will be on a path the entire time making it impossible to miss a turn. You can just relax, get into the moment and enjoy the scenery passing by. The course will be protected from traffic, so that also a plus.
