Hawk Walk is the primary fundraiser for The 24 Group www.the24group.org, a nonprofit foundation that educates the public about the effects of substance abuse on families, and provides grants to local treatment and recovery programs to help adolescents and young adults in early recovery. The COVID-19 pandemic and need to limit social contacts has created additional challenges for those impacted by substance use disorder, so your help is more important that ever!
The 24 Group is mindful of the continued need to be cautious and respectful of COVID-19 concerns, so we have decided to pivot to a Virtual Only Walk/Run. Details for the event are being finalized, but participants will be able to complete the 5K walk or run any time between 10 a.m. Sept. 26 and 5 p.m. Sept. 27 in the location of their choice (even on your home treadmill if you like!).
You have the option to register as an individual or as a group/team with friends and family. A $5.00 per person discount applies when registering 5 or more. You can also set up your own fundraiser to raise donations as an individual or through your team by clicking on the Donate button and following the instructions.
