Description
The Back To School Classic 5K Run/Walk is a memorial run to honor the Late Carol Barnes Volner, who was a teacher with the Montgomery County School system for 27 years. The funds raised from this event provides scholarships to college-bound graduates of Montgomery County High School. The race director is Hopey Newkirk, a lifelong runner herself who is the daughter of Carol Barnes Volner.
