Introducing the All-New Great Woods Marathon & 2-Mile Test Run!
Ready to chase your next PR in a fun, fast, and super supportive setting? Welcome to the Great Woods Marathon, an all-new race experience built for speed, safety, and serious good vibes — all happening at the iconic Great Woods in Mansfield, MA (now know as Xfinity Center)!
The Course:
A flat, fast 2-mile loop, designed for runners who want to stay close to friends, family, bathrooms, and cheers! Start just 0.2 miles ahead of the finish line and complete 13 easy-to-track laps — every mile is marked, every step is supported, and you’re never far from water, music, or motivation.

Not ready for the full marathon? No problem! Join our 2-mile test run at 1:30 PM and get a feel for the loop. It’s the perfect preview for next year — or just a great excuse to be part of the party!
6-Hour Time Window
We’ll keep the good vibes going for at least 6 hours. If you’re still out there, you won’t be alone — you’ll just be sharing the course with some enthusiastic 2-milers!

Course Details
- The course is a flat 2 mile loop
- Official start is .2 mile ahead of the finish line
- Checkpoints for each mile for accurate splits
- 1 water stop with Gatorade as well
- Tables available for personal hydration which are #'d (remember where you leave your drinks)
- Participants are welcome to set up their own hydration spot but you are responsible for maintenance and cleanup
- Porta potties are available at the Start/Finish
- Water, fruit, and granola available in the registration area post race

Refunds, credits, or deferrals are not allowed for this event.

Marathon pricing is $85 through 11/30/25.
Price increase on 12/1/25 to $95
2 Mile Test Run
$30 for the duration
Packet Pickup
Packet Pick up will be available at Marathon Sports Mansfield on Friday 4/24/25 starting at 3pm and ending at 7pm.
On Site packet pickup will be available starting at 6:30am. The race will start on time so do not be laste!
FAQ
- Strollers are ok, we ask that you start in the back to avoid any collisions
- No dogs unless they are certified service animals. The venue is a private location and does not allow for it
- You can have a friend pick up your bib # for you. just provide ID or reg confirmation
- There is no on site bag check. Parking is course adjacent
- Any lost and found items will be returned to the reg area on site and held for 48 hours
- Mylaps timing system will be used on site
- Race is rain or shine
- Given each mile is timed, reports are available for all splits
