Grand Rapids Run Against Hunger

Countless families in Grand Rapids struggle each day to find food to eat. North End Community Ministries (NECM) is a food related ministry on the northeast side of Grand Rapids that exists to fight hunger and feed families in the local community.

The third annual Grand Rapids Run Against Hunger will take place on July 9, 2016 on the campus of Cornerstone University. Races will include a 5k run and a 5k walk. Awards will be provided for the overall winners of the 5k run, as well as the top 3 in each age group.

This year, we're changing things up a bit and committing $10 of each $15 registration to NECM. That means when you sign up, you're directly helping to feed a family. When you bring a bag packed full of food on race day, you're helping to provide meals to someone who truly needs it. We would love to see hundreds upon hundreds of people committed to impacting lives and fighting hunger - one step, one bag, and one mile at a time.
