RIDE THROUGH THE WILDS OF LOWER MICHIGAN’S LARGEST PARK, WHERE PRISTINE FORESTS, ROLLING GLACIAL TERRAIN, AND SPARKLING LAKES PROVIDE A BREATHTAKING BACKDROP FOR THE GRAVEL CYCLING EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME. Given Waterloo Recreational Area’s glacial history, the bike courses will vary from rolling hill climbs and swift descents to winding curves and rare straightaways. Some roads will be paved. Others may be patched. Most will be dirt and rock. Expect to get dusty. Expect to get grimy. Expect to have the time of your life!
100K: 2 loops that wind through Waterloo’s more than 20,000 acres.
50K: Condenses the best that the 100K offers into half the distance (one loop)
10-mile non-competitive: a little bit of everything!

While we started with Grand Rapids Triathlon and Michigan Titanium, we have since expanded into the gravel scene. We now produced not only three gravel bike events (Waterloo G+G, The Dirty Mitten Gravel Bike Race & Rode To Hell), but we also have two of only a few gravel triathlons in the country: Ugly Dog Gravel Triathlon and The Dirty Mitten. If trail running is your thing, we also offer the Brainy Day Trail Run.
NEW FOR 2023: Join us as Gran Fondo returns as the Grand Rapids Gran Fondo, now a Tris4Health cycling event!
