XTERRA Ionia Off Road Triathlon, Duathlon and XTERRA Trail Run Series Event

 On The Move Race Management and Ionia Parks and Recreation present the 5th Annual XTERRA IONIA off road Triathlon, Duathlon and XTERRA Trail Run Series Event.  Triathlon legs are .5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike and 3.4 mile run.  Duathlon legs are 2.0 mile run 12.5 mile bike and 3.4 mile run. Race venue continues to be Ionia State Recreation Area using Sessions Lake for swim, established MTB trails, improved rail trail for bike and single track trail traversing Sessions Lake for the final leg of each event, Run course has several cool bridge crossings along with rock a garden its awesome. The XTERRA 3.5 and 7.0 mile Trail Run Series event will run in conjunction with our Triathlon and Duathon. All events are off road courses running through Ionia State Recreation Area.  Ionia State Recreation Area requires a Michigan Passport Pass or the purchase of a daily pass to enter the recreation area.
