Friends of Fishtown 5K

Join us for our 17th Annual Fishtown 5K! 

Race Information

Starting and finishing in the heart of Fishtown, gradual climbs and graceful descents make our chip-timed 5K ideal for the serious runner or the whole family. Runners, walkers, strollers and leashed dogs are all welcome. Rain or shine. 

The in-person race registration features:

• Start to finish RFID Chip Timing (through Newton Timing & Race Services, of Davison)
• Corral starting line with fastest runners at the front
• Five year age categories
• Hydration stations throughout the course
• Post-race fuel
• Included in the Traverse City Track Club’s 2025 Grand Prix Series

You receive:

• Fishtown 5K logo tee  (T-shirt cutoff is June 19, 2025)
• Fishtown 5K logo sticker
• Commemorative race bib
• Chance to win race medals unique to Fishtown
  
  • Our special Fishtown 5K medals are awarded to the top three male & female finishers in each age category
• Overall Female and Male winners receive a unique Fishtown 5K award

Age categories in five-year increments, starting at:

5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80+

Important dates:

June 19: **Last day to register to guarantee a race t-shirt is included in your packet

July 18 @ 6pm: Last moment to register online

July 18: Packet pickup for in-person registrants (see below for location and time)

July 19: Race day! Register by 8:30am to have your race chip timed

**If you want to secure a race t-shirt and size you must register by this date. We will be ordering some additional t-shirts but they will be first-come first-serve.

Packet Pick-up:

• July 18:  for in-person registrants 2 – 6pm in the Leland Library's - Munnecke Room (203 E Cedar St. Leland, MI)
• July 19:  in Fishtown 7:30am to 9:00am 
  •  Any packets not claimed will be available at the FPS office, Monday-Friday, 10am - 4pm through the end of July.
