Packet Pick-up - Prior to Race Day
We are encouraging as many runners as possible to pick up their race packet prior to race day. This will minimize congestion on race morning prior to the start of the race. Saturday packet pick-up will be in the parking lot at the park office. The park office is located outside of the main park entrance gate.
Packet Pick-up will begin at 7:15am at the Start/Finish Line
8:00 am: Start - Marathon, Half-Marathon, & 50k
9:00 am: Start - 10k+ & 5k
Start will be small groups every 5-15 seconds to thin out the pack early and make it easier to pass.
Volunteers will be placing cups of water on tables at the aid stations.
Please do not run more than 2 across. Please be courteous of runners, walkers, & cyclists going in both directions. The path is open to others on race day. Pay attention to the parking lot entrance crossing - The cars have the right of way. We ask that you Stay to the Right & Pass on the Left.
We will not be doing age group awards. In place of age group awards everyone will be getting something in addition to their finisher's medal. Results will be uploaded the race website. Results are uploaded every 15-20 minutes during the race.
The medals are awesome. They are Huge. Runners love them.
We get this comment at the finish line a lot:
"These medals are awesome. I've run lots of big city marathons that didn't have medals this nice!"
Age groups - NO AGE GROUP AWARDS
Instead we are giving all finishers the equivalent of age group awards
We will publish results in both Overall and Age Group formats.
