Lace up your running shoes and get ready to march before you feast!

Join us the weekend before Thanksgiving for the Turkey March 5K, a fun, family-friendly run and walk benefiting the Harrisburg Band Program. Whether you’re racing for a personal best, walking with friends and family, or just waddling your way to the finish line, everyone is welcome.  This fun and energetic event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and community supporters of all ages to come together for the sake of music.

The Turkey March combines two of our favorite things, Thanksgiving and marching band into one festive community event. Expect plenty of fall fun, music, and turkey-themed spirit as we kick off the holiday season together.The Turkey March helps support music programs in Harrisburg Schools, providing instruments, opportunities, and experiences for student musicians. 

Run. Walk. Waddle. However you cross the finish line, your participation helps support opportunities and experiences for Harrisburg Band students.

After the race, stick around for post-race festivities, community vendors, and refreshments at the Harrisburg Holiday Palooza! 

Come earn your Thanksgiving feast and help us make some noise for the Harrisburg Band!

Your registration comes with a t-shirt and a medal for participating in our 5K! Make sure you register before the deadline and before supplies run out!
