HOW CAN I HELP?

If you are like us, you may be watching the war on Ukraine and wondering, how you can help?  

Coastal Race Productions is launching a free 11 Kilometer virtual run in efforts to show support and solidarity with the people and families of Ukraine.  Ukrainian communities that are being torn apart by the brutal Russian attack are filled with runners, like us, who attend weekly club runs, socials and races.  Even now the running community in Kyiv is showing up daily to run the city streets to show that they are alive and strong while heavy artillery rages around them. One veteran marathoner in Kyiv,  Nikolai Plyuyko, has run over 150 kilometers the last 2 weeks alone. He not only runs laps (11K loop) for his physical and mental health but also runs errands for others in his community who are less mobile.  While this is just one example, we all know the running community world wide is made up of wonderful people who are more than wiling to roll up their sleeves and help when needed and that's what we are doing.  We invite you to participate by completing an 11K distance, running in solidarity with the people and families of Ukraine whose lives are being impacted by the Russian Invasion.  We are currently reaching out to run clubs, race directors and runners such as Nikolai in cities across Ukraine to see what they need and how we can assist.  Registration for this challenge is FREE  and 100% of your donation will go to help meet the needs of the running community across Ukraine.
