Palisades Half Marathon

On Sunday, October 6th, 2024 lace up your running shoes for an unforgettable experience among the majestic cliffs of the New Jersey Palisades. This half marathon offers runners stunning views throughout its 13.1 mile paved course with an elevation change of more than 1600 feet. The event is USATF sanctioned on a USATF certified course and will be a 500 point race in the USATF-NJ Grand Prix.

Whether you are training for the fall marathon season, a nature lover, or looking for an endurance challenge, this race promises to invigorate and inspire. 

Proceeds will benefit the Palisades Parks Conservancy which supports and preserves 100,000+ acres of public parkland and historic sites stretching from the GW Bridge to the Shawangunk Ridge and Catskill Mountains. 
 

TRANSPORTATION

EASY ACCESS FROM MANHATTAN! The race will start and finish just a few minutes from the Port Authority GWB Bus Station (a 10 minute drive or 25 minute bike ride). Bicycle and vehicle parking will also be available at the Start/Finish. Shuttle access is available from upper Manhattan: 

15 MINUTE MANHATTAN SHUTTLE

A shuttle bus will be available running between 168th/Broadway in Manhattan and the Start/Finish line at Ross Dock Picnic Area. Runners can reserve their own seat and additional seats for spectators during registration or through their RunSignup account portal if already registered. A small fee is required to help cover rental costs and toll fees.

Awards will be given for age groups - 16 - 19, and at 5 year intervals up through 80+, 3 deep men and women, no double dipping.
