JOIN US FOR THE 2nd ANNUAL STRIDES FOR SAFETY 5K AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE! Our fearless County Executive has served our 12 municipalities over these last 20+ years with numerous philanthropic events proving that in Hudson County, there’s nothing more important than fostering our local communities. We believe all of Hudson County has a stake in ending gun violence and that by working together, we can build a County where all can thrive, free from the fear of gun violence. Strides for Safety is the rallying point to raise awareness about what is being done to end gun violence and provide an opportunity for everyone to get involved. More than a single event, the Strides for Safety is a dynamic platform to support and celebrate community organizations working to build peace and bring out the best of our city. At this event, we are inviting our Hudson County community to run (or walk) to raise awareness and end gun violence here on our home front and across the U.S. Please note, this is a USATF-Certified course!
Following the race, we will host runners/walkers and their families at the After Party BBQ which will include an Awards Ceremony for our runners, musical entertainment and family activities, along with traditional BBQ eats and refreshments.

7:30 AM: Registration/ T-shirt Pickup
