Description
Early on the morning of Sunday 8/5/2012, Matthew (also know as “Little Mac”) shattered his C5 vertebrae. After calling 911, one of the people with Matt called Matt’s dad so Matt could talk with him. Matthew’s words: “I’m sorry dad, but I’ve hurt myself very badly”, rang in the newest chapter in Little Mac’s life.
Mathew was airlifted from Marlton Middle School to the trauma center at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey where he began the long road of healing and recovery.
Family and friends of Matthew McCarroll are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with Matt’s catastrophic injury.
Matt has chosen to fundraise with HelpHopeLive.org in part because it assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for donors.
Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically related expenses.
