New Date: TBD (Fall 2020)
Dear Om Memorial 5K Run & Walk participants, sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters,
First, we hope your family is doing well in this time of uncertainty.
For the past month, we have been actively working to reschedule this year’s 3rd Annual Om Memorial 5K Run & Walk from May 17th, 2020 to a future date. While we do not have a new date confirmed at this time, we are checking with the park authorities for availability in the fall of 2020. In doing so, we will place the health and safety of all of you at the very top of the list.
If you are registered for the race or walk, your registration will carry over to the new date. If you are a sponsor, we will communicate with you once we have a new date confirmed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work out details. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please send us an email at OmMemorial@gmail.com.
The Om Memorial 5K Run and Walk Planning Team
Join us for a 5K run and 1 mile walk to help raise funds for early detection and prevention of childhood cancer. We are doing this in loving memory of Om Parikh, a very energetic 8th grader who taught us how to stay positive, be strong and keep smiling in the face of unthinkable adversity.
Organized by Monroe Indians for Civic Action (MICA) and supported by Agraj Seva Kendra, Indian Cultural Association of Monroe (ICAM), Rotary Interact Club of Monroe/Jamesburg & Guru Nanak Sikh Heritage
