Welcome to our 9th Annual Join Hands 5k!
For more than 40 years, The Tomorrows Children’s Fund has been committed to helping children with cancer and other serious blood disorders. With the help of friends like you, TCF provides a warm, healthy and loving environment for children in treatment and a full scope of services to relieve families’ emotional and financial stress. In addition to our direct financial aid programs, TCF also offers an array of activities, events, special guests and parties, designed to provide our young patients with a brighter tomorrow. All of which confirms our belief that through hope, hard work and heartfelt generosity, extraordinary things are possible.
Please join us for our 9th Annual Join Hands 5K being held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Saddle River County Park, Wild Duck area in Ridgewood, NJ. This is a new location for us, but we all have the same mission - to support our patients and their families!

In-Person vs. Virtual Race FAQ's
What's the Difference?
The easiest explanation is that the In-Person race is....get ready for it....in person
and the virtual race...you guessed it.... is not 😊
Other differences: In-person run is timed using a chipped race bib on a certified course, which we provide to you along with our amazing race shirt
The virtual run is not timed and you'll need to print your own bib (not necessary but totally makes you look legit when running your 3.1 miles).
Aforementioned amazing race shirt is not included but you can purchase one for an additional $10.
* What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that you can run or walk wherever you choose – on the road, in a park, at a track, or at home on a treadmill. You get to run your own race, at your own pace! You can run by yourself or with a group of friends. Want to make it even more fun? Grab some friends from another town/city and start your race at the same time!
* How Does it Work?
Simply sign up for our virtual race and then run/walk wherever you want
* What About Race Bibs?
You will be able to print your race bib right at home from the race site! More info to follow
* Can Anyone Participate?
Yes! We encourage participants of all ages and ability levels!
* Will I Need to Report my Time?
Nope! You don’t need to upload your time.
* Can I Share Photos?
YES! We would love for you to tag your social photos with #TCFJH5K and share them by uploading them to our race site - more info to follow.
* Do I Have to Register to Donate?
Nope! Not a runner? Not a problem – just click on the Donate button on the left!
