1/2mile west of US491 on Carbon Coal Rd at the High Desert East Trailhead

The Joy Ride (6 and 15-mile) and Joy Run (7K and 15K) is a free event sponsored by McKinley County. 

Schedule of Events:

  • 6am - Packet Pickup begins
  • 7am - 7K/15K Run begins
  • 8am - 15 mile mountain bike race begins
  • 8:05am - 5 mile Mountain Bike Race begins
  • 8:15am Run awards
  • 10am - Mountain Bike Awards
  • 10am - Refreshments
