On August 30th, the Empire Road Race Series 10K and Harper's 2-person relay races will be held on the westside streets of Binghamton. Race proceeds will be used to support the Harper Stantz Memorial Scholarship and the rebuilding of the OurSpace playground.
This race is the 4th event in the 2020 Empire Road Race Series and has always delivered a quality event to the running community. 2020 will be no different!! The post race will feature food, beer and music for runners to enjoy. All those who attend the post race party will be asked to wear a face mask and be respectful of appropriate social distancing guidelines. Let's demonstrate that the running community can do this right!
This course is mostly flat and fast and was selected by local runners and sure to provide PR opportunities! The first leg of the relay is 3.5 miles with the second leg being 2.7 miles.
Race time is 9:00 am
Immediately following the race will be a block party on Seminary Ave, near Abel's Pub. Live music, pizza, food, water and beer will be provided.
Register by midnight August 14th to receive the race tee shirt.
