Description

Join the Northeast Ohio SPCA for the VIRTUAL 16th Annual New Leash on Life Woof Walk! Gather your friends, family, co-workers, and pup(s) to join your team and save thousands of healthy animals at our no-kill shelter!

While we can't meet in person because of Covid-19, you can still tune in on walk day to show your support for homeless pets.  Participation is easy!  Simply register online, create your own team, fundraise by asking your friends, family, and co-workers to support your efforts and then, the morning of September 26th, take your pup(s) for a stroll through your neighborhood or favorite park.  Don't forget to show off your cuties on social media by using #woofwalk2020 and #northeastohiospca

The registration fee is $25.00 per person which will directly benefit the shelter animals.

  • Each walker that raises $50 or more will receive an official Woof Walk t-shirt.
  • Each walker that raises $500 or more will receive an official Woof Walk t-shirt plus an official Northeast Ohio SPCA winter beanie
  • Each walker that raises $1,000 or more will receive an official Woof Walk t-shirt, an official Northeast Ohio SPCA winter beanie, and will be invited to name a dog and sponsor its adoption into a new & loving home (name must be approved by SPCA staff)
    • Please note that shirts and walk packets will not be available until a week or two AFTER the walk.  Those that qualify will receive an email indicating when and how to pick up your Woof Walk swag.

As a no-kill shelter, we are dedicated to giving homeless and abandoned pets a second chance at life. We strive to provide every animal with the right to survival and to be treated with respect and kindness. We are committed to reducing the number of stray animals in the community through our spay and neuter program which requires every animal to undergo the procedure prior to adoption. Through the Woof Walk, we hope to spread awareness in the community about our shelter and shelter pets while gaining support throughout Northeast Ohio.
