Event Description
Break free from winter hibernation at the Mo Spring Marathon, Half Marathon, and 15k at Mohican State Park. The course begins and ends at the historic Mohican Lodge. Seasoned runners as well as enthusiastic beginners and hikers will be challenged by rugged trails and hills in this unique and memorable outdoor experience.
Immerse yourself in Mohican’s diverse ecosystem. The budding trees, spring flowers, ferns, and mosses provide a rich habitat for wildlife and songbirds, as well as a serene backdrop for your adventure. You’ll marvel at the Clearfork Gorge, a Registered National Natural Landmark, offering a breathtaking view over 300 feet deep, surrounded by towering hemlocks and old-growth white pines. Other must-see landmarks include the iconic covered bridge, fire tower, and Lyons Falls. Don’t miss this opportunity to embrace the joys of spring in the heart of one of Ohio’s favorite state parks!
