Event Description
Walk, run, or just come for the FUN!
Join us Sunday, September 20th at 9:00am for our 2nd Annual KWF Cleveland 5k FUN Run and 1 Mile Walk in the Bonnie Park area of the Cleveland Metroparks in Strongsville.
It will be a day packed full of FUN, including a KWF gift delivery to a well-deserving woman with breast cancer, a special area for all our breast cancer survivors to connect and create, and a post-race community celebration with a DJ, food trucks, children's activities and more!
Help our KWF Cleveland Chapter put FUN on the calendars of more women & families LIVING with breast cancer in Northeast Ohio.

- 10:00am - Race begins
- 11:00am – Race awards ceremony, raffle prize winners, & KWF gift delivery
- 11:30am – Post-race celebration with food trucks, music & MORE!

Bonnie Park Picnic Area sits on land that was once part of the community of Albion. In 1924, the land was purchased by a Cleveland physician to build a picnic area which he named Bonnie Park. When Cleveland Metroparks purchased the land in 1934, the name Bonnie Park was retained. A wildlife management area is also located here. Bonnie Park Picnic Area is located off the Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation, just east of Pearl Road/Route 42 in Strongsville.
Parking: 2 free, paved, parking lots near event site. Overflow traffic can go to several close parkway pull-offs within walking distance.
