6th Annual Norman Firecracker 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us for a fun-filled way to kick off your Independence Day celebration in the City of Norman while running for a good cause!

Kick off the festivities at 8:00 am with the Sixth Annual Norman Firecracker 5k at Legacy Park. Hosted by Oklahoma Race Company and the City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department, this race is a great way to start your day and show your patriotic spirit. 

Oklahoma Race Company is once again partnering with Meals On Wheels of Norman to make a difference in the community through this event! A portion of the overall proceeds from this race will go to the non-profit Meals On Wheels of Norman. You also have the opportunity to donate to the charity during registration, and 100% of these proceeds will go directly to Meals On Wheels of Norman. • 5k & 1-mile runners will get a cool finisher medal, free professional race photos, a swag bag, and a customized race bib.

• Run on a fast and flat USATF Certified Course!

• Hear your name announced at the Finish Line by the national broadcaster, author, running ambassador, and running coach MARK BRAVO!

• Racers (as a group) will get a dynamic stretching and bodyweight exercise warm-up prior to the race by certified personal trainer Mandii with Collective Health and Wellness. Stop by the Collective Health and Wellness booth too! Collective Health and Wellness

• Racers can purchase a race-day T-shirt at check-out or at the race, first come, first served. Shirts can also be picked up at packet pick-up or on race day. However, we can not guarantee size availability if not purchased in advance.  

• Age group awards will be given at the post-race awards ceremony.
