Shooting Star 5K Run and Walk for Life

Prepare to take some big steps and join hundreds of supporters of life who are working to help women, children and families in Central Pennsylvania. Your support for the 5K Run and Walk for Life will provide us with the critical resources we need to serve the more than 3500 clients who come to Morning Star for counseling, treatments, ultrasounds and material assistance. wheelchairs and strollers, everyone is welcome to participate in these fun events!

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

7 AM - Runner Registration / Check-in
8 AM - 5K Run Starts
8:30 AM - Walker Check-in
8:30 AM - FREE Pancake Breakfast Begins
9 AM - Kid’s Zone Open – FREE train rides, carousel rides, face painting, bounce house, treats and more!
9 AM - Awards Ceremony with Cash Prizes for Top Runners
10 AM - Walk begins – Take .8-mile route around City Island and continue another 1.7 mile route across the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge, along Front Street to Forester Street and back.
