The Kinney 5K Run

Join us for a 5k run/walk to support the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support. The Kinney Center has a two-fold mission: to educate and train the autism professionals of tomorrow, while supporting and serving the individuals and families affected by autism today. The Kinney Center is committed to helping individuals with autism live greater. The Kinney Center aims to improve the lives of individuals and families managing an autism diagnosis, while training compassionate and dedicated professionals empowered and capable of fulfilling our mission beyond our walls. The Kinney Center provides: A resource center for information, networking and advocacy support; Supervised peer mentoring and social skills programs for children, adolescents and adults; Support and educational resources for college-age students with high-functioning autism and Asperger's syndrome; An academic major and minor curriculum and hands-on training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in working in the autism field. Schedule: Registration – 7:30am; 5k Run/Walk – 8:30am. Cost: $25.
