Description
The United Community Reedy River Run 10K is one of the oldest road races in the south and will be celebrating its 47h running on April 19, 2025. With the start on Greenville's famous Main Street, you will take a tour of downtown and beautiful Cleveland, Cancer Survivor's and Falls Parks. The races will have a downhill finish on Falls Drive near the United Community headquarters.
The event was previously the 2017 and 2021RRCA South Carolina State 10K Championship and the 2019 RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship.
There is also a 5K race which starts on S. Main St and uses the same finish line as the 10K on Falls Street.
United Community 47th Reedy River Run Participant Limits
Our 10K will be limited to 1,500 participants and the 5K to 1000 participants. The 10K will once again have staggered "wave" starts and waves will be determined by the participant's Estimated Finishing Time. So, please enter your EFT during the registration process. The 10K will once again have commemorative Finishers medals and Age Group awards.
The 5K is our less competitive run, but may also have starting waves to help spread out the field and will not have Finisher medals or Age Group awards.
Please be advised, due to the very early start times there will NOT be race day packet pickup. You may have someone pick up your race packet for you (please provide your approval to the person picking up for you by text to their phone to be presented).
Women's T-shirt Sizing
We offer Unisex and Women's Cut race T-shirts. However, the Women's Cut are tapered and traditionally run at least one size smaller. Please consider ordering a size larger than usual. Due to lead time issues, we ordered a specific number of Women's Cut shirts. However, we anticipate depleting that inventory. If there are no quantities of a specific size available, please chose a larger Women's size or an Men's size. Thank you for understanding.
Amenities
Each registered participant will receive: our race T-shirt and a set of Bibboards fasteners (reusable replacement for safety bins) to attach race bib. 10K runners' bibs will have participants name on bib (if registered before March 20), and receive our unique finisher's medal. Baby Strollers and Pets
While we love babies and pets, our race course's characteristics (some narrow paths and tight turns) do not allow for either baby joggers/strollers or pets on leashes. Thank you for your understanding.
Bandits
Bandits are strictly prohibited at Greenville Track Club events. A bandit is anyone who participates in an event without registering and without an official race number. This includes running on the race route during the event times (7:20 am until 10:00 am). This is not only a safety issue, as race officials are unable to identify bandits in the case of an emergency, but also a drain on event resources. If caught, bandits will be requested to leave the race course and event area immediately. It may also impact the bandit's eligibility to participate in future Greenville Track Club events and program. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
