World Orphans 2015 Rescue Run TN

5-K & Kids' Fun Run-RUN or WALK one of Knoxville's premier race events. Race features scenic 5-K course, prizes for top finishers, great kids' fun run, finish line expo and kids' festival with activities and games for great family fun. Join us and take action with The Rescue Run, a national race series that raises global awareness and funds to help rescue orphans and break the cycle of poverty, HIV/AIDS, trafficking, prostitution and slavery in developing countries. Fundraise for The Rescue Run and your registration is FREE! Here's how: 1. Register as a FUNDRAISER (at no cost) 2. Ask friends and family to help support your race 3. When you raise $100 or more, your registration is FREE and you help rescue orphans.

Parking:

Free parking at Pavilion on a first come, first-served basis. There is additional parking on the streets and surrounding schools and park areas.
Awards info:

Awards ceremony will follow 5K event and awards will be presented to: - The first three overall male & female finishers. - The first three age group finishers (male & female) in the following age categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. - Goody bags will be awarded to all kids participating in the Kids Fun Run.

Online registration ends at 5:00 PM MST on Friday, October 11. You are allowed to sign up on race day for $35.

Packet pick-up & race registration will be available on race day at the Spring Brook Pavilion beginning at 7:45 am.
