Scars Uncovered Virtual Charity Run - 5K

HOW DOES A VIRTUAL RUN/WALK WORK:

• Sign Up/Register for the virtual race

• Walk/run in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, outside with friends, cycle, or dance, as long as you complete your 3.1 miles between the dates of 9/15/2022 - 10/15/2022

• Track your time on whatever device you prefer

• Come back to this website and enter your results under the "Submit your time" tab.

• Share plenty of pictures in our Scars Uncovered 5K Charity Run Facebook group and join our photo circle by clicking here.

Yep..it's that easy. There are several prizes to be won so don't forget to post those pictures with us on social media using #ScarsUncovered5K  #SU5K2022

EVENT PURPOSE:

The purpose of the event is to support Burn Survivor Awareness & Fire Prevention Week. We also have a goal of raising $15,000 to provide support for burn survivors. Support includes but is not limited to the following: assisting burn survivors with burn garments, transportation to medical appointments, care packages, lodging assistance, burn camps, burial expenses, food, and more.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: 

• Entry to the Scars Uncovered 5K

• Gifting a burn survivor support and services

• Scars Uncovered 5K Wristband

• Custom Virtual Finisher Certificate

• Custom Scars Uncovered 5K Bib Number

• A chance to win gift cards and other fun prizes

• Access to our Scars Uncovered 5K Charity Run online community to engage, post results, share pictures, and training tips
