A Great Cause
The Center for Pursuit, a private, non-profit corporation, is a United Way agency dedicated to offering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential and to contribute to their community. One hundred percent of your entry fee for the HBA John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run is contributed directly to The Center for Pursuit and helps support a variety of programs designed to provide education, job training, socialization, community living, and health care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Since 1986, the Houston Bar Association has raised over $1.6 Million for The Center for Pursuit. Please join us in continuing to support this worthwhile cause by participating in the 8K race, the 1K children's run, or the 1-mile family walk.
If you are unable to participate in an event, please consider supporting The Center for Pursuit by simply making a tax-deductible donation on the Donate page or by mailing a check to the Houston Bar Foundation, Attn: Fun Run, 1111 Bagby Street, Suite FLB 200 Houston, Texas 77002. Make checks payable to Houston Bar Foundation or HBF with "Fun Run donation" in the memo.
