Description
In sneakers, wheelchairs and strollers, hundreds of San Antonio area residents will take steps toward a cure for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis on Saturday, October 22: The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will host its ninth annual Take Steps fundraising walk that day at Eisenhower Park, located at 19399 NW Military Highway in San Antonio. Registration and check in begins at 10:00 a.m., with a 11:00 a.m. start time to cover a course of slightly less than one mile within Eisenhower Park.
All walkers will then enjoy games, activities, and food at a short festival that celebrates the courage of patients and the support of families and friends, sponsors, fundraising teams, healthcare professionals, and volunteers in a private area within the park.
Price: All walkers are encouraged to donate $25 and commit to raising $250 or more.
