Hit the road, Huskies! Lace up your sneakers and soak in the campus beauty for our annual 10K run and 5K run/walk. All Dawgs (and dogs) are invited, and UWAA members save on registration! It’s a day of fun for the whole Husky pack.

Packet Pickup

Avoid the lines on race day. Pick up your packet early at University Book Store on the Ave.

Packets will be available at the following dates and times:

Thursday, October 15 (10AM-6PM)

Saturday, October 17 (10AM-4PM)

You can also pick up your race packet at the event. Please arrive at least 90 minutes early to make sure you have time to receive your race materials.

Please note: The “Run Anywhere” virtual option is not available this year. All run packets will need to be picked up in person for this race. Already registered, but unable to pick up your race materials in person because you live outside the Seattle area? Please contact UWAA customer service at 206-543-0540 or uwalumni.uw.edu and we can cancel your registration and issue a refund.

The 2026 Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash 5K/10K is your chance to get together, support UW student scholarships and enjoy a trot through the UW's iconic campus. Featuring a Husky Pups Run presented by AMBA for kids, Post-Dash Bash and dog registration, it's a day of fun for the whole Husky Pack.

Chip Timing

The Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash 5K and 10K races on UW campus will be electronically tag-timed.

All participants must wear a timing tag in order to appear in the results.

Giveaways

5K/10K Shirts

The 2026 Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash shirts are black, short-sleeve Brooks Running tech t-shirts. This comfy, breathable top is a great way to show your Husky spirit all year long. Adult registrants also receive a collectable finisher’s medal.

Husky Pup Shirt

Kids eight and under can join the Husky Pups Run presented by AMBA, running on a special kids’ course that loops around Drumheller Fountain. Child runners receive a kid-sized t-shirt plus a finisher’s ribbon.
