It is our custom Silver Circle Sports Events finisher medal with the Non Cancelled logo on it. Register soon, because we have very limited space available in those divisions. All participants will be eligible for age group awards.
Don't stop training! The non cancelled marathon is happening!
We hope all the spring marathons happen, but if they don't you haven't wasted all that training. Register today and if your marathon happens, great! You can run that one in person and run this one virtually! If your event gets cancelled, BAM you have an in person marathon. Think of it as an insurance policy.
Permits are in hand, the marathon course is approved and will be certified soon!
The race will be a socially distanced run. Please review our approved social distancing plan prior to registering.
The courses will be out and back on the paved Lake Country Trail. This is one flat and fast course!
Marathon course - 4 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
Half marathon Course - 2 out and backs between Roosevelt Park & Valley Road
10K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Hwy 67
5K - 1 out and back between Roosevelt Park & Silver Lake St
We acknowledge an out and back marathon isn't exactly scenic, but it sets up perfect for your spectators to see you 8 times, personal support and heck, it is a real in person, spring marathon and cheap!
We will have timing points at each turn and at the 1/2 way point on each lap - you know, so you can know your split point every 1.6375 miles! We will also have an announcer near the bag drop announcing runners as they enter the area! Just to add to the fun, RaceJoy will be enabled so friends and family know where you are every second of your fun!
The course will be USATF certified.
Overall Male & Female will receive medals. Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive a custom medal. All finishers in all distances will receive a custom Non Cancelled Marathon finisher medal. It is the largest medal we have ever done! Over 5 inches wide!
The shirts are gender specific, dry wick and those registered by noon on April 21st are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis.
Everything you ever wanted to know about shirts can be found right here. The FEMALE shirts run small!
This race is perfect for spectators! They can see marathoners at the start, 8 times on course and at the finish! Because we cannot guarantee a touch-free aid station, there are no aid stations on the course or at the finish line. You should bring your own water.
There will be two on-course bag drop areas:
1. Lake Country Trail & Silver Cedar Road
2. Turn at the start/finish line
There will be an on-course bag drop area for you to leave your nutrition and hydration items. It is located at the intersection of The Lake Country Trail and Silver Cedar Rd. We recommend that you drive to the bag drop location before checking in at packet pickup, park on the Oconomowoc Parkway, walk across the grass, and drop your bag. Please do not park on Silver Cedar when dropping your gear bag. Please place your bag in the designated bag drop area before the race and space it 10’ from other bags. Both sides of the path can be used, but please place them on the grass and not the path. This is a self-placement and self-serve bag drop. We will not be transporting bags on course. Don’t worry, there is plenty of time and space for you to self-place your bag. Besides, do you really want some yahoo touching your water bottle?
This race is open to crewing. The best place to crew is in the area of the bag drop, but please distance your crew at least 20' from another crew team.
Restrooms are available at the start/finish line and at bag drop on course.
PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!
