ATA Jingle Bell Jog

Allen T. Allison Elementary School is proud to partner with Chester Hometown Christmas to bring you the 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Jog in Chester, WV. Last year we were honored to host over 250 participants. We anticipate that this year's event will show further growth and even more fun for all ages!

This years race will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9:00 am.  

Day of Race Sign Up and Pre Race Check In will begin at 7:30. Day of Race Registration: $25

Course is composed of newly paved city streets and can be considered stroller friendly. 

Race will follow the route of Chester's known 5k race course:

• Starting Line: Near Family Kitchen and Smokehouse on Carolina Avenue
• Race proceeds down Collin's Memorial Drive and includes a loop through the upper end of Chester (11th street, Neptune Ave, 8th St, Plutus Ave)
• Returns to Carolina Avenue (Rt. 2) and moves through town to 3rd street red light where course then turns right, until 3rd and California.
• Left on 3rd and California, Left on 1st and California
• Return to Carolina Ave and return back down main street for the finish near the location of the start. 

Please join us as we dash and prance to the finish and kick off Chester's Christmas season! Race packets will include cookies and hot chocolate at the finish. 

All proceeds from this event will benefit the ATA PTA

T shirt guarantee: Please register by Friday, Nov 1st  to guarantee a race participation t-shirt.  Registration will remain open until race day; however, shirt availability will be on a first come, first serve basis after this date. NEW IN 2024 -- Long sleeve upgrade option (additional fees apply)

Race packet pick up: 

Early packet pick up will be available via Allison Elementary the week of the race. Please look for communication via email/social media closer to race time.

Day of race:

Packets will be available near the starting line on race day beginning at 7:30 am

**Youth age groups will be dependent on registration volume**

Medals will be given for placers 1st-3rd, male & female, in each running category + 1st 3 walkers overall (male & female)

Prize will be available for the most festive participant.
