AVID 6K Running for College

Why 6K?  That is the distance from the Flinthills Technical College to Emporia State University.  The race begins at Emporia High School (across the street from FHTC) and goes  through the rolling hills of Emporia with a finish on the campus of ESU.  The funds from this race will support our AVID program. AVID (Adcancement Via Individual Determination) is a program for students to help them prepare and be successfull in colllege.  Join this sprited event by sporting your favorite college gear or dressing as your college mascot.
