Description

Join us and beat the heat this summer at our Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics. This event is presented by the Leawood Police Department, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas, and features a fast course through the streets of Leawood. Your participation will help raise money for Special Olympics and finishers in both the 5K and 10K Run/Walk will receive a custom finishers medal! We will start both events at Midnight on Saturday night at the Camelot Court Shopping Center near 117th and Roe in Leawood and will utilize the tree-lined Tomahawk Creek Parkway for the course, with one lap for the 5K and two laps for the 10K.  Due to limitations on road closures, the 10K is a run only event with a one hour and 15 minute time limit.  Please don't choose the 10K if you are not able to meet the 10K limit as the roads will be reopened.
