Description
Wildcat Warriors is a Kansas State University organization comprised of students who are pursuing a commission in the United States Armed Forces through campus programs. Our organizational goals include promoting esprit de corps amongst cadets and enhancement of understanding of the AFROTC program through community outreach. The Wildcat Warriors are once again combining those goals by hosting our fourth annual Wildcat Warrior 5K. This 5K will give our cadets the opportunity to bolster moral, give back to Kansas military members and their families, as well as raise awareness about our program within the community.
The foundational goal of the 5K is to give back by honoring our nation’s service members and their loved ones. Our proceeds will be donated to the United Service Organization (USO) Fort Riley. The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. Furthermore, USO Fort Riley is the only center servicing the entire state of Kansas.
